70% of monthly Mapbox allocation reached
20% day-over-day spike in routing calls
3× increase in job ingestion
2× increase in partner fleet activity
Any driver generating > 200 routing calls/day
Any feed generating malformed payloads
Latency > 500ms
Error rate > 2%

Alert Actions

  1. Notify Operator
  2. Notify Admin
  3. Auto-throttle abusive endpoints
  4. Auto-switch to cached routing where possible
  5. Escalate to HITM if anomaly persists > 10 minutes

Purpose

This monitoring engine ensures system health and API usage are tracked, projected, and alerted on in real time. Anomalies are surfaced to the HITM queue for operator review.
