Driver Guide
This guide covers how drivers use the Loadcircle Driver Portal to receive, manage, and complete jobs.
Getting Started
Registration
- Go to loadcircle.io/driver
- Enter your name, phone number, and email
- You will receive a driver UUID — share this with your operator so they can onboard you in the Console
- Use the web portal or add it to your home screen as a PWA
Receiving a Job
When your operator dispatches a job:
- You receive a push or browser notification
- Open the Driver Portal to see the load reference, pickup/drop-off details, route preview, and compliance checks
To Accept
Tap Accept — the job status changes to En Route and your operator can see your live position.
To Reject
Tap Reject — the job returns to Pending and the operator is notified to reassign.
During the Job
- Your live position is shared with the operator's Console map
- Use the Route Preview to navigate — it respects truck restrictions, low bridges, and hazmat zones
- Mark milestones: Arrived at Pickup, Loaded, Departed, Arrived at Drop-off
- Report issues using the Exception button
Completing a Job
- Tap Confirm Delivery at the drop-off location
- Optionally add a photo of the delivery receipt
- Job status moves to Completed
- You are now available for the next assignment
Partner Drivers
If you are a driver for a partner carrier, your registration process is identical. Your operator onboards you via UUID, and you see jobs dispatched by the partner's operator.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Can't accept a job | Check your internet connection. Contact your operator if it persists. |
| Wrong job details | Report via Exception button — operator will review and correct. |
| Lost phone | Contact your operator immediately to pause your account and issue a new UUID. |
| Need a break | Set yourself Offline — no jobs will be dispatched while offline. |
