Freight Identity
The Freight Identity system uses UUID primitives to uniquely identify every entity in the logistics network — drivers, operators, partner carriers, and vehicles.
UUID Types
| UUID | Scope | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Driver UUID | Individual driver across fleets | uuid-4f8a |
| Operator UUID | Primary fleet operator account | op-a1b2 |
| Partner UUID | Partner carrier company | prt-c3d4 |
| Fleet UUID | Sub-fleet within an operator | flt-e5f6 |
Onboarding Flow
- Driver registers via Driver Portal — receives a UUID
- Operator enters the UUID in the Console Drivers panel
- Driver appears in the operator's fleet and is available for job assignment
- For partner drivers, the partner operator shares the UUID with the primary operator
Cross-Fleet Operations
A driver's UUID persists across operator changes. When a driver moves to a different operator, their job history, compliance records, and reputation score follow them.
